Phil Cooper

CEO/ Founder

Phil Cooper, our founder, started his journey in the world of service and hospitality at the tender age of 14 in Frankenmuth, MI, also known as “Little Bavaria”. His love for theatre and his vibrant personality led him to the hospitality industry. He honed his skills at Northern Michigan University, an upscale country inn in Cape Cod, MA, and later at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. There, he discovered his passion for special events and event design, even getting his work featured in leading magazines.

Recognizing a gap in the event industry for non-drinkers like himself, Phil saw the legalization of recreational cannabis in Illinois as an opportunity to reimagine event experiences. Today, he is dedicated to incorporating cannabis into events responsibly and stylishly, aiming to destigmatize the plant while throwing unforgettable, fabulous events!

Mindy Moore

Operations

With over two decades of experience in the event, hospitality, and sports marketing sectors, Mindy Moore is a seasoned professional who has had the honor of working with esteemed organizations like the Ravinia Music Festival, the Chicago Cubs, and with the iconic basketball player, Michael Jordan.

She’s seen trends come and go, but firmly believes that cannabis is not a passing fad.

Mindy’s enthusiasm for cannabis and high-quality events make her a perfect fit for our team at High-Minded Events. As our go-to “taster”, she ensures every aspect of the cannabis experience is tested during the event planning stage, guaranteeing an exceptional and tailored experience for all guests.
