Refunds & Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

At High Minded Events, we understand that plans can change, and we’re committed to being as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs. Here’s our cancellation policy, designed to be fair and clear for all our clients:

If You Need to Cancel:

  • Plenty of Time (30 Days or More): We get it, things happen! If you cancel your event more than 30 days before the big day, you’re entitled to a full refund of all the money paid towards our services, minus the non-refundable deposit. It’s our way of saying we understand.
  • Closer to the Event (Less Than 30 Days): We’ve likely done a lot of prep work by this point, so if you cancel less than 30 days before your event, we can’t refund the payments made. You will also need to cover any additional event costs incurred since your last payment. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to give you our best.
  • Rescheduling Your Event: Life’s unpredictable, and if you need to reschedule, don’t worry! We’ll apply all your payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) to your new date. You can reschedule up to a year from your original event date, based on our availability.


If We Need to Cancel:

Our Commitment to You: In the rare event that we have to cancel, we’ll either find you a suitable replacement planner (with your approval, of course) and transfer all your payments to them, or we’ll refund everything you’ve paid us.

Breach of Agreement: If the cancellation is due to a breach of our agreement on your part, please understand that we’ll need to retain all payments made till that point.
